Here's our memorization schedule for the coming weeks.  This is based on where we are in our Firm Foundations lessons, and reflects what we'll be studying this semester.  Remember, you can always keep up to date with this schedule by visiting http://mebane.vor.org/sundayschool

Verse schedule

Review

During class, we will give each student an opportunity to recite their verses.  They will be allowed one mistake per verse.  They may memorize and quote verses in any version of the Bible, but if it's not NKJV (from which we'll be teaching), please have the student bring that Bible version.

Recognition

For each verse they memorize and recite, the student will receive a sticker or stamp on our memorization chart.  (We encourage you to check this regularly to encourage your child.)  If a child can recite any five verses in one sitting, they will receive an award from our prize box.  The prize box has goodies like toy cars and coloring books.

We hope that you will "accidentally" memorize these verses along with your child.  They have been selected to highlight our lessons, and are key verses to understanding God's plan of redemption.
